Arkansas Rice Research Verification Program Weekly Update May 15, 2026 – Update No. 7

Several fields have had herbicide and pre-flood nitrogen applications. The permanent flood has been established at the Chicot and Jefferson County fields. Fields fertilized and starting water include Crittenden, Lonoke, White and Woodruff Counties. The Desha County (FIR) field has been fertilized and scheduled to flush through prior to next week’s rain forecast. The Prairie County field is being planted today. Refer to table below for field-specific information.
