Arkansas Soybean 2021 Crop Cash and 2022 New Crop Booking Market Reports (June 24, 2022)

2021 Crop Soybean Cash Market Statistics and Elevator Prices

The Arkansas 2021 Crop Soybean cash market posted a 21-cent loss over the past weekend to open at $16.78 on Tuesday. The USDA-AMS did not publish a market report on Monday. The statewide average traded downwards during the week to close on Friday at $16.08 (Figure 1). Friday’s average price was 91 cents below the previous week’s closing average price. This week’s average daily price range (maximum - minimum) was 54 cents. Six market locations across the state provided price quotes during the week (Figure 2). 2022 New Crop Soybean Booking Market Statistics and Elevator Prices

The USDA Agricultural Marketing Service began reporting booking prices for the 2022 Arkansas No. 1 Yellow Soybean market on November 15, 2021, for 2022 October-November delivery. This week, the booking market average posted a 27-cent loss over the weekend to open at $15.20 on Tuesday. The USDA-AMS did not publish a market report on Monday. The statewide average traded downwards during the week to close on Friday at $14.33 (Figure 3). Friday’s average price was $1.14 below the previous week’s closing average price. This week’s average daily price range (maximum - minimum) was 55 cents. Eleven market locations across the state provided price quotes throughout the week (Figure 4).
