Arkansas Soybean 2021 Crop Cash and 2022 New Crop Booking Market Reports (August 5, 2022)

2021 Crop Soybean Cash Market Statistics and Elevator Prices

The Arkansas 2021 Crop Soybean cash market posted a 64-cent loss over the past weekend to open at $14.25 on Monday. The statewide average traded sideways during the week to close on Friday at $14.29 (Figure 1). Friday’s average price was 60 cents below the previous week’s closing average price. This week’s average daily price range (maximum - minimum) was 1 cent. Two market locations provided price quotes throughout the week (Figure 2). For details on price quotes, see Table 1.

2022 New Crop Soybean Booking Market Statistics and Elevator Prices

The USDA Agricultural Marketing Service began reporting booking prices for the 2022 Arkansas No. 1 Yellow Soybean market on November 15, 2021, for 2022 October-November delivery. This week, the booking market average posted a 63-cent loss over the weekend to open at $14.16 on Monday. The statewide average traded sideways during the week to close on Friday at $14.18 (Figure 3). Friday’s average price was 61 cents below the previous week’s closing average price. This week’s average daily price range (maximum - minimum) was 59 cents. Eleven market locations across the state provided price quotes throughout the week (Figure 4).
